REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that any
one who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, and sought thy
intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly
unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother! To thee I come; before thee I
stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word incarnate, despise not
my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
Indulgence. (1) 300 days, every time, (2) A plenary indulgence, once a
month, for having said it daily; under the usual conditions. (Pius IX,
December 11, 1846.)

(by St. John Eudes, C. J. M.)
Hail Mary, Daughter of God the Father;

Offering Of The Heart
Virgin Mary, most loving Mother,
please give me a heart like yours,
firm in its attachments and of unshakable loyalty,
an affectionate heart which radiates a discreet tenderness and which is open,
a pure heart which lives in the flesh without being burdened by it,
a generous heart,
quick in forgetting its hurts and always ready to forgive,
a considerate heart which hides a great deal of love in the smallest details,
in the most humble service,
a magnanimous heart which rejoices in other's triumphs
and shares in their sorrows,
a heart which condemns no one,
and does not tire of being confided to,
a heart taken up by Christ,
totally given to His infinite love.
Amen.

The Blessed Virgin Mary
O Virgin Mother of God, most august Mother of the Church, we commend the whole Church to you.
You bear the sweet name of "Help of Bishops;" keep the bishops in your care, and be at their side and at the side of the priests, religious, and laity who offer them help in sustaining the difficult work of the pastoral office.
From the Cross, the Divine Savior, your Son, gave you as a most loving Mother to the disciple whom he loved; remember the Christian people who commit themselves to you.
Be mindful of all your children; join to their prayers your special power and authority with God. Keep their faith whole and lasting, strengthen their hope, and enkindle their love.
Be mindful of those who find themselves in hardship, in need, in danger and especially those who are suffering persecution and are kept in chains because of their Christian faith. Ask for strength of soul for them, O Virgin Mother, and hasten the longed-for day of their liberation.
Turn your eyes of mercy toward our separated brethren, and may it please you that one day we be joined together once again, you who gave birth to Christ, the bridge and the artisan of unity between God and human beings.
We commend the whole human race to your immaculate heart, O virgin Mother of God. Lead it to acknowledge Jesus as the one true Savior. Drive far from it all the calamities provoked by sin. Bring it peace, which consists in truth, justice, liberty, and love.

Prayer Of Offering To Mary
Most Holy Mary Virgin Mother of God, I am unworthy to be your servant. Yet moved by your motherly care for me and longing to serve you, I choose you this day to be my Queen, my Advocate, and my Mother. I firmly resolve ever to be devoted to you and to do what I can to encourage others to be devoted to you.
My loving Mother, through the Precious Blood of your Son for me I beg you to receive me as your servant forever. Aid me in my actions and beg for me the grace never by thought, word, or deed, to be displeasing in your sight and that of your most holy Son. Remember me, dearest Mother, and do not abandon me at the hour of death.

To You, O Mary!
Written by Pope John-Paul II
O Mother of men and peoples,
you know all their sufferings and their hopes,
you feel in a motherly way
all the struggles between good and evil,
between the light and the darkness
which shakes the world.
Accept our cry addressed in the Holy Spirit
directly to your heart
and embrace with the love of the Mother
and the Handmaid of the Lord
the peoples who await this embrace the most,
and likewise the peoples whose consecration
you too are particularly awaiting.
Take under your motherly protection
the whole human family
which we can consecrate to you,
O mother, with affectionate rapture.
May the time of peace and freedom,
the time of truth,
justice and hope,
approach for everyone.
O you, who are the first handmaid
of the unity of the Body of Christ,
help us, help all the faithful,
who feel so painful
the drama of divisions of Christianity
to seek with constancy
the way to the perfect unity
of the Body of Christ
by means of unconditional faithfulness
to the Spirit of Truth and Love,
which was given to them by your Son
at the cost of the cross and death.
O you, who are so deeply and maternally bound to the Church,
preceding the whole People of God
along the ways of faith, hope and charity,
embrace all men who are on the way,
pilgrims through temporal life
towards eternal destinies,
with that love which the divine Redeemer himself,
your Son, poured into your heart from the cross.
Be the Mother of all our earthly lives,
even when they become tortuous,
in order that we may all find ourselves,
in the end in that large community
which your Son called the fold,
offering his life for it as the Good Shepherd.
O you, who were with the Church
at the beginning of her mission,
intercede for her in order that going all over the world
she may continually teach all the nations
and proclaim the Gospel to every creature.
O you, who have known in the fullest way
the power of the Holy Spirit,
when it was granted to you
to conceive in your virginal womb
and to give birth to the Eternal Word,
obtain for the Church
that she may continue to give new birth
through water and the Holy Spirit
to the sons and daughters of the whole human family,
without any distinction of language,
race, or culture,
giving them in this way
the "power to be come with children of God." [Jn. 1:12].
O you, who have always wished to serve!
You who serve as Mother
the whole family of the children of God,
obtain for the Church
that enriched by the Holy Spirit
with the fullness of hierarchical and charismatic gifts,
she may continue with constancy
towards the future
along the way of that renewal
which comes from what the Holy Spirit says
and which found expression in the teaching of Vatican II,
assuming in this work of renewal
everything that is true and good,
without letting herself be deceived
either in on direction or in the other,
but discerning assiduously
among the signs of the times
what is useful for the coming of the Kingdom of God.
O you, who--through the mystery of your particular holiness,
free of all stain from the moment of your conception,
feel in a particularly deep way
that "the whole creation has been groaning in travail" [Rom. 8:22],
while, "subjected to futility,"
"it hopes that it will be set free
from its bondage to decay" [Rom. 8:20-21],
you contribute unceasingly
to the "revealing of the sons of God,"
for whom "the creation awaits with eager longing" [Rom. 8:19],
to enter the freedom of their joy [cf. Rom. 8:21].
O Mother of Jesus,
now glorified in heaven in body and in soul,
as the image and beginning of the Church,
which is to have its fulfillment in the future age,
here on earth,
until the day of the Lord comes [cf. 2 Pt. 3:10],
do not cease to shine before the pilgrim people of God
as a sign of sure hope and consolation (cf. Lumen Gentium, 68).
O you, who more than any other human being
have been consecrated to the Holy Spirit,
help your Son's Church
to persevere in the same consecration.
Holy Spirit of God,
You who is worshipped
and glorified with the Father and Son!
Accept these words of humble consecration
addressed to You
in the heart of Mary of Nazareth,
Your bride and mother of the Redeemer,
whom the Church too calls her Mother,
because right from the Upper Room at Pentecost
she has learned from Her,
her own motherly vocation!
Accept these words of the pilgrim Church,
uttered amid toils and joys,
fears and hopes.

Holy Mary, Mother Of God
(By Pope Benedict XVI: Deus Caritas Est [42])
Mary, Virgin and Mother,
shows us what love is and whence it draws its origin
and its constantly renewed power.
To her we entrust the Church and her mission in the service of love:
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
you have given the world its true light,
Jesus, your Son - the Son of God.
You abandoned yourself completely
to God's call and this became a wellspring
of the goodness which flows forth from him.
Show us Jesus. Lead us to him.
Teach us to know and love him,
so taht we too can become capable of true love
and be fountains of living water
in the midst of a thirsting world.

Act of Consecration to the Blessed Virgin (Baptism)
Fr. Noel le Mire, S.M. and adapted by W. Cole, S.M.
O blessed Virgin Mary our Mother, when the Son of God decided to take upon Himself our human life in order that we might share in His Divine Life, He did not wish to come to us without your free cooperation.
He deliberately willed to have need of you.
Look down today from heaven upon little ( infants name). He / she has received from their parents the life of man, and now by the Holy Sacrament of Baptism,
he / she has been given a life which is infinitely superior,
the very life of God.
We know that just as God is his / her Father and our Father, you are, in regard to his spiritual life, his / her Mother and our Mother.
We confide this child to you. Show yourself his/her Mother.
Watch over his / her education; nourish him with the life of grace; make him progress in his Christian life just as his / her human parents aid him / her to progress in physical as well as spiritual life.
Protect the precious life which has just been received.
Be for him / her a real Mother to guard him/ her in your arms when the devil seeks to destroy his / her spiritual life in your Son Jesus Christ.
May he / she love you as Jesus Christ loved you, for our love for you is nothing else but a participation in the love of your Son / Daughter for you.
In the name of this child ( infants name), we wish to make today his / her first prayer to his heavenly Mother.
Hail Mary

Virgine Benedicta
Blessed Virgin who, under the title of Repose, reminds us of the succoring pity with which your maternal heart is open to your children, hear our prayer!
Through your powerful intercession, O Mary, may minds and hearts find repose in abandoning themselves to the Will of the Heavenly Father, in the consciousness of their frailty, in faith in divine promises, in the hope of eternal blessings, and in adhering lovingly to your Crucified Jesus who has made our crosses his own.
If we are protected by you, O Mary, clam amid earthly perturbation will not be an empty word.
It will be repose for the strong, watchful against hostile forces; repose for the pure, away from worldly corruption.
And as through you we shall have had peace in this life, so, at the end of our pilgrimage in time, we shall enjoy peace for ever and ever.
Amen.

Salve Regina
Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy.
Hail, our life, our sweetness, and our hope!
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve;
To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us.
And after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
V. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray
Almighty, everlasting God, Who, by the co-operation of the Holy Ghost, didst so make ready the body and soul of the glorious virgin Mother Mary that she deserved to become a meet dwelling for Thy Son:
grant that we, who rejoice in her memory, may by her loving intercession be delivered from the evils that hang over us, and from everlasting death.
Through the same Christ our Lord
R. Amen.
V. May the Divine assistance remain always with us.
R. Amen.

The Memorae
Remember, O gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help or sought thy intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of Virgins and my Mother; to thee I come, before thee I kneel, sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me.
Amen.
