Collect On The Feast Day Of The Ascension Of The Lord

God our Father,
make joyful in the ascension of Your Son Jesus Christ.
May we follow Him into the new creation,
for His ascension is our glory and our hope.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son,
who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.

Ascension

Grant, we beseech Thee, almighty God, that we will believe Thine only-begotten Son our Redeemer to have ascended this day into heaven, may ourselves dwell in spirit amid heavenly things.
