Teach Us To Love

Lord, we thank Thee for all the love that has been given to us,
for the love of family and friends,
and above all for Your love poured out upon us
every moment of our lives in steadfast glory.

Forgive our unworthiness.
Forgive the many times we have disappointed those who love us,
have failed them,
wearied them,
saddened them.
Failing them we have failed You,
and hurting them we have wounded our Saviour
who for love's sake died for us.
Lord, have mercy on us,
and forgive.

You do not fail those who love you.
You do not change nor vary.
Teach us Your own constancy in love.
Your humility, selflessness and generosity.

Look in pity on our small and tarnished loving,
protect, foster and strengthen it,
that it may be less unworthy to be offered to You
and to Your children.
O Light of the world, teach us how to love.

Prayer To Love God Above All Things

God, my Father, may I love You in all things and above all things. May I reach the joy which You have prepared for me in Heaven. Nothing is good that is against Your Will, and all that is good comes from Your Hand. Place in my heart a desire to please You and fill my mind with thoughts of Your Love, so that I may grow in Your Wisdom and enjoy Your Peace.

Prayer For A Suitable Partner In Life

Loving and wise Father, I pray for the light of Your wisdom and guidance as I search for true friendship that will lead me to find my suitable partner in life. Help me to patiently wait for the right person who will be my companion for all my life.

Bless me Lord, that I myself may grow in these virtues: deep respect for life and for people, kindness, sincerity and generosity. Teach me to become unselfish and forgiving of others. I ask for the grace to be prepared for the commitment that I will eventually make to the particular person who will be your gift to me.

Lord, accompany me all the days of my life. Draw me closer to you so that I will be able to discern your will for me. Give me the courage to decide not according to what others want, not even according to what I alone want. But may I always place my desires in accord with the designs of your heart so that may experience real peace and joy that can only come from you.

Prayer to Save Troubled Marriage/Relationship

Dearest God,

I ask that You and the angels help me heal my love life. I am willing to release any unforgiveness I may beharbouring toward myself and my partner, and I ask that the angels cleanse me of all anger or resentment now. Please help me see each other through the eyes of love. I ask that all effects of our mistakes be undone in all directions of time. Please work with my partner so that we may have harmony, romance, friendship, respect, honesty and great love for one another. Please renew our love. Thank You.
