Easter Sunday Prayer

God our Father,
We thank You for the gift
Even before You raised Christ Your Son
You already planted in our heart and soul
The spirit of Your Son Jesus Christ
by raising Christ your Son
Not to prove that You can conquer the power of death
But to make us realize that
the Christ has always been in our heart
and opened for us the way to eternal life.

Today we celebrate this gift
Today we celebrate that we can accomplish more
because His spirit is within us
Today we celebrate that we can be strong for
all the challenges that we have encountered.
Today we celebrate that we can be happy
and nothing to be afraid of.
Today we celebrate that we are always safe
since the Christ is within us to protect us all the time
Today we celebrate that we have hope
for all the people in the world
Today we celebrate the renewal of our lives
by His Spirit within us
Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
